Roger Federer Won the Wimbledon 2009 for Sixth times by defeating Andy Roddick by 5-7,7-6, 7-6,3-6,16-14.

Roger Federer break the Pete Sampras record , Pete Sampras returned to the All England Club on Sunday for the first time since 2002 for the chance to watch Roger Federer overtake his grand slam titles record.

Sampras won the Wimbledon title three straight years from 1993 before winning it four times in a row from 1997. he retired after winning his 14th grand slam title at the 2002 U.S. Open.

27 year old Roger Federer thanks to Pete Sampras for coming to the Wimbledon Final, Federer now overhauled Pete Sampras's incredible tally of 14 titles, among which he can count six Wimbledon crowns to surpass Bjorn Borg and Lawrence Doherty's five.
