Tennis Update - Justine Henin Got Wildcard Entry for Australia Open 2010
Former Champion Justine Henin will be back in Australian Open in 2010.
Justine Henin retired in May 2008, Before that she have won 41titles, She is inspired by Kim Clijsters stunning performance in the Australian Open.
Australian Open Tournament director said "I spoke to Justine's team over the weekend and was happy to grant her request for a wildcard into the Australian Open.
he further added "Justine is the ultimate competitor, the winner of seven Grand Slam titles, and we are looking forward to welcoming her back to the Australian Open."
We all hope the way Kim Clijsers have performed same way Justine Henin should do. Lets keep figure crossed

Sharapova Out from LA Championship - Tennis Live Update
Former World number one Maria Sharapova is out from the LA Championship. Italy's Flavia Penutta defeated Sharapova by 6-2, 4-6,6-3.
After the defeat Sharapova said "I didn't feel fresh, she further added 'I was surprised it went to the third and I had my opportunities, but I couldn't close it out."
In other Semi final Samantha defeated Sorana Cirstea by 6-3,6-2.
Samantha Stosur will meet Italy's Flavia Penutta in the final of LA Championship.

Maria Sharapova Advance at LA Championships - Live Tennis Update

Last week there was news that Sharapova refuses to be written off, Sharapova came back from the behind and showed why she is the BEST.
Maria Sharapova defeated Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2 and advance to third round of LA Championships.
After defeating the Azarenka Sharapova said "I loved it ,Going into the match I knew I would have to dig deep and find ways to win and hang tough."
Now in Third Round Alona Bondarenko will face Maria Sharapova.
In other matches Defending champion Safina beat Hantuchova.
Nadia Petrova of Russia beat Israel's Shahar Peer 6-4 2-6 6-3 , Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland defeated Ai Sugiyama 6-2 6-1.

Sampras Praises Federer - Tennis News Live Update - Live Tennis
Former World Number one Pete Sampras said there will be no negative impact on the current world number one Roger Federer.
Sampras thinks Federer is the all time BEST, sampras stated "It's a hard question to answer and I just feel each generation has its player," You had Rod Laver in the sixties, Bjorn Borg in the seventies and the eighties, me in the nineties and Roger today.
"The greatest player of all time? It's hard to say but I would give it to Roger.

Live Wimbledon Semi Final - Murray Vs Andy Roddick - Tennis Update

23rd Year old Nadal will take decision whether to play at Wimbledon after taking part in a second exhibition match against Stanislas Wawrinka at the Hurlingham Club on Friday.
Only one man can stop Roger Federer from winning the Wimbledon that is Rafael Nadal, if Nadal withdraw his name from the Wimbledon then it would be big chance to federer to suprass the pete sampras record.

Live Wimbledon - Rafael Nadal Still Doubtfull for Wimbledon - Tennis Update
World number one Rafael Nadal said he is still hope full for the Wimbledon, he can to fix problems with his knees and be fit to defend his Wimbledon title.
Spaniard said "I will give 200 per cent to be at 100 per cent for the most important date in world tennis and the tournament that has always excited me the most, Nadal further added "I have been playing with pain in my knees for several months and personally I cannot continue like this",The pain was limiting me physically in certain movements which meant I was also suffering mentally. I will not take to any court, and certainly not the Wimbledon centre court, unless I know I am 100 per cent."
World number four Novak Djokovic, who lost to Nadal in last year's Queen's Club final, said he hoped the Spaniard would be back for Wimbledon.

Federer Wins the French Open for the First Time - Tennis Update
At last Roger Federer won the French Open for the first time, by defeating Robin Soderling in a straight set 6-1, 7-6, 6-4.
Roger Federer also equalled the 14Grand Slam title. After the defeat from Roger Federer Robin Soderling said " Roger taught me how to play tennnis".
Roger Federer also become the 5th man to win all four of the Slams in his career.

Live Tennis Update - Sharapova Makes Dashing Come Back - Tennis Matches
The 22year old makes a wining entry after nine months defeating Italy's Tathiana Garbin 6-1 6-7 (6) 6-3in the first round of the Warsaw Open.
Due to her injury Sharapova was dropped from number 1 to 126 ranking.
After her come back and beating her Italy's Tathiana Sharapova said "It was a little bit longer than I wanted it to be, a lot longer than it should have been, Sharapova further added "But I had good opportunities and I played really well in the first set."
Sharapova has won 19 single titles and only one on clay.
Sharapova will be focusing on French Open as the only Grand Slam title missing from her collection.

Live Tennis Update - Nadal Wins Rome Crown
World Number 1 Rafael Nadal takes the Rome Crown from defending Champion Novak Djokovic.
After defeating Novak Djokovic by 7-6,6-2, Nadal broke the third seed twice in the second set to bag his fifth title of the year, his third on clay, and continue his dominance before beginning his bid for a fifth successive French Open title later this month.
Nadal got off to a flying start to the match, which had been slightly delayed because a spectator felt ill during the warm-up, breaking in the opening game.

This is Nadal 5th consecutive Barcelona Open title, Top seed Nadal, who also beat Ferrer in last year's final.
Nadal said winning the Barcelona "This is much more than a dream for me," I never could have imagined I'd be here winning for a fifth time,
He also holds the Australian Open and Wimbledon titles and now heads to the Rome Masters where he will bid for a fourth triumph.
