Venus and Serena are on a roll, US top Seed Venus Williams won her second title, defeating defending champion Flavia Pennetta by 6-1, 6-2 in the WTA Acapulco Open.

Pennetta had reached her sixth consecutive final in the event, having also won in 2005 with losses in 2004, 2006 and 2007.

Seven-time Grand Slam winner Williams won her 10th match in a row, After she won at Dubai. and her 20th in 21 starts, overpowering the Italian second seed for her 41st career title.

Williams took the $37,000 top prize at the red clay event.
